Your safety is our utmost priority.

We invite you to take a moment to familiarise yourself with our emergency procedures to ensure a secure and serene stay with us.

In Case of Fire

Stay Calm
Panic can hinder your ability to respond effectively. Breathe deeply and remain composed.

Review Emergency Exit Plan
Please take a moment to locate and review the emergency evacuation plan. In most rooms, this is displayed behind the door. If not visible, kindly refer to the Emergency Guide provided in the digital compendium for detailed evacuation routes and safety information. Familiarise yourself with the floor layout and identify the nearest exits.

Know Your Exits
Identify the closest stairwells, fire alarms, and extinguishers.

Room Key
Keep your room key readily accessible at all times.

Do Not Use Lifts
Lifts may become unsafe during a fire. Always use the stairs.

Leave Belongings Behind
In the event of evacuation, do not attempt to collect luggage or large personal items, as this may delay your exit and obstruct others.

Keep Your Room Key With You
Bring your room key in case you need to return to your room for shelter.

If You Discover a Fire:

  • Press the emergency button on your room phone or dial 6555.
  • Alert others nearby.
  • Use the nearest stairwell to evacuate.
  • Follow the instructions via the public announcement system.
  • Proceed to the designated assembly point outside the building.

In Case of Earthquake

Stay Calm
Do not evacuate immediately. Movement during the tremor increases risk of injury. Remain inside and await evacuation instructions from hotel personnel.

Protect Yourself Indoors
Drop to the ground.
Take cover under a sturdy piece of furniture, e.g. table.
Hold on until the shaking stops.

Avoid Windows and Glass
Stay away from breakable items that could shatter.

Room Key
Keep your room key readily accessible at all times.

Do Not Use Lifts
Lifts may become inoperative or unsafe after seismic activity.

Once Shaking Stops

  • Check for injuries and hazards.
  • Avoid using damaged stairwells or lifts.
  • Remain indoors and wait for hotel staff instructions before mobilising.

In Case of Tsunami

Act Immediately on Warning
If the public alarm system sounds or instructed by staff, proceed without delay to the tsunami evacuation area.

Use Stairs Only
Lifts must not be used during a tsunami evacuation.

Move to Higher Ground
Follow signage and staff instructions to designated safe zones at elevated locations.

Ocean Safety at Mulia Bali

Please observe these safety measures before entering the ocean.

Important Safety Guidelines

  • Swim only within buoy-marked areas.
  • Check all warning signs and flags before swimming.
  • Lifeguards are on duty daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Do not swim outside of these hours.
  • Never swim alone—always let someone know where you are.
  • Avoid the ocean if you are tired, unwell, or have consumed alcohol.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Remain alert—never turn your back to the waves.
  • Watch for jellyfish, rocks, and sharp coral.
  • When in doubt, ask our beach attendants or lifeguards for guidance.

Flag Warnings

  • Red: Do not swim (dangerous conditions or no lifeguard on duty).
  • Red & Yellow: Safe to swim—area under lifeguard surveillance.
  • Yellow: Moderate hazard—exercise caution.
  • Green: Conditions considered safe.
  • Purple / Jellyfish: Marine hazard present—enter water with extreme caution.

Pool Policy

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests:

  • Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Proper swimwear is required.
  • No running, diving, or rough play.
  • Glassware is prohibited.
  • Do not swim with open wounds or contagious illnesses.
  • Please shower before entering.
  • Pools are open only during designated hours—no lifeguard is present after hours.
  • Floatation devices are not substitutes for adult supervision.
  • Infants must wear swim nappies.
  • Please be mindful of noise and others' privacy.

Assembly Points
After evacuating, proceed calmly to the outdoor gathering points marked on the emergency map.
