Mulia Privilege Terms & Conditions

ENROLMENT

  1. This membership is by invitation only and cannot be purchased. 
  2. Individuals aged 17 and above are eligible to apply for membership in the programme, except for Mulia Group team members, employees and/or staff, airline crew or staff.
  3. Eligibility; Membership in the Mulia Privilege Program is available to any individual over the age of majority that:
    • Possesses the legal authority to agree to the Mulia Privilege Program terms;
    • Resides in a jurisdiction that legally permits participation in the Mulia Privilege Program;
    • Provides valid and accurate personal information when enrolling in the Mulia Privilege Program;
    • Is not already a member of the Mulia Member Program (i.e., does not already have a member account. Once eligibility for membership in the Mulia Privilege Program is confirmed by Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali an applicant will be enrolled in the Mulia Privilege Program as a Mulia Privilege Member. Hotel Mulia Senayan or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas, Nusa Dua - Bali may deny membership in the Mulia Privilege Program to any applicant in its sole discretion and without written notice.
  4. Stay a minimum of one (1) night at selected rate categories at Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali.
  5. Program membership entitles members the right to earn points, which can be redeemed for Rewards in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Program. Member benefits and Reward are offered in good faith, however may not be available if prohibited by law or regulation in member's country of residence.
  6. Individual Memberships. All Mulia Privilege Member accounts are individual accounts and no joint accounts are permitted. Mulia Privilege Program benefits are nontransferable unless expressly stated otherwise.
  7. Personal Profile. Information provided by Mulia Privilege Member will be maintained in a personal preference profile. All information provided by Mulia Privilege Member in his/her personal profile must be valid and accurate and must be kept current.
  8. Membership in the Programme is non-transferable and non-assignable. Membership cards are non-transferable and may only be used by Members themselves.
  9. Approval of application for membership and grant of membership shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta and The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali.

MEMBERSHIP TIER

Mulia Privilege Silver
When you first enroll within eligible rates you will immediately enjoy Mulia Privilege Silver benefits. You will also receive 500 bonus points automatically credited once your membership is activated.

Mulia Privilege Gold
A Gold membership will be awarded to members with minimum spend of US$ 10,000 up to US$ 19,999 OR stay 30 qualifying nights within eligible rate categories in any rolling year. Bonus points of 2,000 will be automatically credited to your account once upgraded. If minimum room revenue not achieved within the following rolling year, membership tier will be re-qualified to Silver.

Mulia Privilege Diamond
Mulia Privilege Diamond will automatically be given to member with minimum spend of US$ 20,000 above OR stay 50 qualifying nights within eligible rate categories and the qualifying period of any rolling year. Bonus points of 4,000 will be automatically credited to your account once upgraded. A Mulia Privilege Diamond member is eligible to apply for a supplementary card (not for sale).

In the event a Mulia Privilege Diamond member does not achieve room US$ 20.000 nor stay with minimum 50 qualifying nights within the following 12 months, the member will be downgraded or re-qualified and revert to the terms and conditions of Mulia Privilege Membership Tier.
 

All tiers of membership category validity are calculated based on one (1) year of issuance date, excluding tax and service charge. Mulia Privilege Member must Re-qualify every one (1) year for the following year’s membership. Only qualifying stays will be counted towards upgrade or re-qualification of membership. Upgrades occur as soon as a Member has achieved minimum spend to enter the next tier, within a Membership Year.

  1. Members who do not have eligible stay activity in any 60 consecutive month period are subject to forfeiture of all accumulated points. At the discretion of Mulia Privilege, such members may be permitted to remain in the program and removed after five years inactivity. To keep accumulating Mulia Privilege points, the member must stay using eligible rates within 60 consecutive month period.
     
  2. Failure to produce eligible stays described above after 60 months will result in the forfeiture of all accumulated points and after five years of inactivity, to deactivation of the Member’s account. Once the points have been forfeited, the member may not retrieve any forfeited points but member may begin to earn points again thereafter. Any reward redeemed by the member before the points are forfeited (such as a hotel reservation made or any voucher obtained) is still valid.

BONUS POINT

  1. Bonus points will be automatically credited to Member’s account when tier upgrade is applied. Allow maximum seven (7) working days after Tier Upgrade for the points to be accrued to the system.
  2. Bonus Points cannot be transferred.

EARNING POINT

  1. To qualify MP points, guest must be paying eligible rate categories and make full payment for each separate stay. Stay means one or more consecutive nights. Member will earn Mulia Privilege Points for each whole US$ or US$ equivalent spent (excluding tax and service charge and other charge from the room package) on eligible rate categories. The eligible rate categories are at the sole discretion of the hotel and may be changed at any time. Eligible rate categories are at the hotel published room rates, including but not limited to prevailing rates, corporate rates, and room package rates. Stays in excess of 30 days (long stay) are eligible to earn points.
  2. Ineligible rate categories for point earning are:
    Travel agency rates, online travel Agency rates. The guest room was booked through a tour operator, online travel channel or other third party channel including, without limitation, booking.com, agoda.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com, traveloka.com, travelocity.com, ctrip.com, etc.
    The guest room was booked at a group rate as part of an event, meeting, conference or organized tour (room rates for busines/leisure group reservations where the rooms are booked as part of conference or an organized trip on a group account or settled globally) and wedding/banquet rates, and complimentary stays.
    The guest room was booked at a tour operator, wholesaler, airline crew rates, airline staff.
    The guest room was booked at a specific special rate, family & friend’s rate, group.
     
  3. Silver member will earn 5 Mulia Privilege points, Gold member will earn 6 Mulia Privilege points and Diamond member will earn 7 Mulia Privilege points for US$ 1 (one) or US$ equivalent spent (excluding tax and service charge) on room rate, excluding telephone, pay-per-view movies, entertainment and recreational facilities, and other incidental charges charged to the Member's room during the Member's stay. And Mulia Privilege Points for US$ 10 (ten) or US$ equivalent spent (excluding tax and charge and) food and beverage spent at Hotel’s outlets, excluding, but not limited to banquet and catering, and alcoholic beverage where prohibited by law. To receive points from food and beverage spent, charges must be settled to the room bill.
  4. No points, miles, or credit toward tier status will be awarded for "no show" situations when a Member has made a reservation guaranteed with a credit card but then does not check in to the hotel-irrespective of whether or not the Member's credit card is charged for any portion of the reserved stay per the hotel's "no show" policy.
  5. Mulia Privilege Points will be credited to member’s account after date of check out. Points cannot be manually credited to account before that period. 
  6. A Member may earn Base Points for up to two (2) rooms per stay, if all eligible charges for both rooms are paid on one folio. Base Points will be earned for all eligible folio charges incurred on both rooms.
  7. To receive points, guest must be registered hotel guest at the same time the charges are incurred. The bill must be under guest’s name. Charges for hotel’s stay prior to enrollment will not be eligible for retroactive credit.
  8. Mulia Privilege points are applicable for room rate (excluding tax and service charge) and not applicable for other charges. Including but not limited to telecommunication, transportation and other incidental charges.
  9. Point accrual for Rupiah rate will be calculated based on hotel’s US$ to Rupiah exchange rate for the month. Hotel Mulia Senayan will decide and reserve the right to amend the official US$ exchange rate.
  10. Free night redemption/ complimentary stays do not qualify towards Mulia Privilege Points.
  11. To qualify for Mulia Privilege Points, tier status, promotion credit, or bonus points, member must pay within eligible rate categories for their stay. A member will not receive Mulia Privilege Points, tier status, promotion credit, bonus points, or towards any promotion for the nights the member pays within ineligible rate category. 
  12. A member whose individual hotel bill is billed directly to a company and the member is responsible for authorization for settlement at check out is eligible for Mulia Privilege points as described herein.
  13. When sharing accommodation with other Mulia Privilege members, Mulia Privilege points will be granted to the person under whose name the reservation is made.
  14. For food and beverage spend to be eligible for point earning, bill must be settled to room billing under member’s name. This is only applicable when the member books the eligible rate categories. 
  15. Only two (2) rooms maximum occupied by the member will count toward Mulia Privilege points, tier status, benefits, and Mulia Privilege promotions.
  16. When more than one (1) member dine at the same table or room, Mulia privilege points will be granted to the person under whose name the reservation is made.
  17. All members’ points will be forfeited when the membership is expired. Written notification will be sent to member’s email three (3) months prior to the expiration date.
  18. Mulia Privilege Points must be redeemed within five (5) rolling years. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali reserves the right to revoke any and all unredeemed point thereafter.

POINT REDEMPTION & BLACKOUT DATES

  1. Mulia Privilege free night redemption and room upgrade are subject to availability and blackout periods may also be imposed during which room redemption are not permitted, including but not limited to Christmas and New Year’s Eve period, Chinese New Year, or Holiday season period. There are a limited number of guest rooms available for Mulia Privilege free night redemption, thus early reservation is required. Room upgrade redemption is only valid for one room class higher.
  2. Mulia Privilege free night redemptions are subject to availability of each property. Advanced booking to our Reservation team is mandatory.
  3. E-Certificate for non-room rewards are required and hotel is not responsible for loss, stolen, or destroyed vouchers. Voucher issuing process will take maximum 14 working days. Vouchers are valid six (6) months from date of issue.
  4. Reward voucher for Rooms, F&B, and Spa may be issued to the Mulia Privilege member, or to any other person, as registered in the name of user/beneficiary on claim form. Once issued, the voucher is not transferable and may be used only by the individual named on the voucher. If a person other than the individual named on the voucher documentation attempts to redeem the voucher, the voucher will be deemed void and accommodations will be denied.
  5. No Mulia Privilege Points will be returned for unused reward voucher which member received or which are partially used.
  6. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali has the right to correct any Mulia Privilege Points printed in error.
  7. Cancellation policy of free night redemption follows each property’s regulation, unless stated otherwise.
  8. Food & Beverage rewards redemption in Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta is valid for all food & beverage outlets with the exceptions of in room dining, and CJ’s Bar, Cake Shop, Chocolate Boutique.
    Also not valid for:
    o Alcoholic beverages
    o Special promotions such as: Christmas Dinner, Chef’s promotion, Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, Wine Pairing promotion, etc.
    o Sunday lunch and /or brunch
    o Mini Bar
  9. Food & Beverage rewards redemption in The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali is valid for all food & beverage outlets with the exceptions of in room dining, Mulia Deli, ZJ’s Bar, The Bar and Sky Bar.
    Also not valid for:
    o    Alcoholic beverages
    o    Special promotions such as: Christmas Dinner, Chef's promotion, Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, wine pairing promotions, etc.
    o    Sunday lunch and/or brunch.
    o    Mini bar.
  10. Issued voucher does not guarantee availability of products/services. Advance reservation is still required to avoid disappointment.
  11. All reward redemptions for registered guest list must be using vouchers. Member must fill in a claim form, write guest’s name / voucher beneficiary, sign and return the form to Mulia Privilege team via email.

GENERAL

  1. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali reserve the right to change benefits and services, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any reward, cancel or change partner rewards, increase Mulia Privilege point requirement to redeem any reward, modify the terms and conditions pertaining to the program at any time, even though changes may affect the value of points or rewards already accumulated without prior notice.
  2. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali is not responsible for partner withdrawals from the program, changes in partner service or for Mulia Privilege point cancellations caused by withdrawals.
  3. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali reserve the right to restrict, suspend, discontinue, or cancel this program upon two (2) months written notice to all members. In that event, Mulia Privilege points for all members not redeemed on or before such redemption end date cannot be redeemed.
  4. Membership in the program is available to one individual, maintaining only one membership account and cannot be shared or combined by more than one person.
  5. Mulia Privilege membership must be re-qualified each rolling year for the following year’s tier. Only qualifying stays will be counted towards upgrade or downgrade of membership.
  6. Membership to Mulia Privilege is by invitation only and acceptance is at the sole discretion of the hotel.
     
  7. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali reserves the right to cancel a Mulia Privilege membership and revoke any and all unredeemed Mulia Privilege Points of any member for reasons that include, but are not limited to:
    Violation of these terms and conditions
    Misrepresentation of information or misuse of this program.
    Violation of any local law
    To pay for hotel charges
    Commission of fraud or abuse involving any portion of this program.
    More than one account membership per person.
     
  8. Reservations are always subject to availability and must be made in advance.
  9. At time of reservations, Mulia Privilege membership number must be provided and membership card presented at checkin to ensure receipt of the benefits.
  10. It shall be a condition precedent to this program that Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali and its management and staff shall not in any manner be responsible nor liable for and shall accordingly be fully indemnified and saved free from, any and all losses, claims, damages and injuries which may be occasioned in any manner whatsoever due to the participation in this Program or whilst enjoying its privileges there under or due to any changes to the terms and conditions of the Program and/or its cancellation of for any reason whatsoever.
  11. Neither the program nor any benefit offered by the program creates, constitutes or gives rise to any legal or company members against Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali.
  12. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali will attempt to notify active members of program changes, but will not be liable for failure to do so. An active member is defined as any member having point activity (accrual or redemption) within the last 60 months.
  13. Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali will not be liable for the conduct of Frequency Alliances or other independent business that may affect the program collection of points or the delivery of products or services offered by them.
  14. The upgraded tier Membership is valid until the end of the rolling year of the membership period.
     
  15. Cancelling Mulia Privilege Member Account.
    Cancelling by Mulia Privilege Member. A member may cancel his/her membership in the Mulia Privilege Program at any time by sending written notice of cancellation to the Loyalty Marketing Program. All unredeemed Mulia Privilege points, Awards and Promotion Rewards will be forfeited immediately and may not be reinstated or transferred.
    Cancelling by Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali. Hotel Management may cancel a member's accumulated Mulia Privilege points, suspend Mulia Privilege Program benefits, suspend Tier Membership Status, or cancel a member's account at any time with immediate effect and without written notice, for any reason and in hotel's soldiscretion including, without limitation, if the Management believes the Mulia Privilege Member has:
    Acted in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws, regulations, ordinances;
    Failed to pay any hotel bill or failed to fulfill a financial obligation
    Acted in an inappropriate, fraudulent, abusive or hostile manner
    Breached or violated any of these Mulia Privilege Program Terms of Use
     
  16. Benefits Subject to Availability and Modification. All Mulia Privilege benefits, amenities, offers, awards and services are subject to availability and may be changed at any time without notice.
  17. Effect of Mulia Privilege Membership Cancellation.
    The Mulia Privilege Program, points, awards, promotion rewards and other related benefits and services are the sole property of Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali and are not the property of Mulia Privilege Members. On cancellation of membership in the Mulia Privilege Program for any reason, all unredeemed points, awards and promotion rewards will be forfeited and a Member will no longer be able to participate in the Mulia Privilege Program, points, awards and promotion rewards have no cash value and Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali will not compensate or pay cash for any forfeited or unused points.
    If Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali cancels a member's account for any reason, the Mulia Privilege member may not reapply for membership in the Mulia Privilege Program and any account opened in the Mulia Privilege Member's name and points, awards and promotion rewards earned in that account will be forfeited upon discovery.
    If member cancels his/her account, or if member account becomes Inactive, the member may reapply for membership in the Mulia Privilege Program at a later date, but no points, awards or promotion rewards previously expired will be reinstated to the member account and any Tier Membership Status, benefits and points will not be reinstated.
     
  18. Eligibility to Receive Benefits. By accepting any Mulia Privilege benefits, amenities, offers, awards or services, including, without limitation, any Mulia Privilege points, awards and or promotion rewards, member acknowledges that he/she is responsible for determining whether he/she is eligible to receive, and that he/she is eligible to receive, such Mulia Privilege benefits, amenities, offers, awards or services (including, without limitation, points, awards or promotion rewards) under applicable laws, gift policies and incentive policies. Each member must immediately notify Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta or The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali if he/she is not eligible to receive any Mulia Privilege benefits, amenities, offers, awards or services at any time.
     
  19. Eligibility to receive benefits for Mulia Privilege members.
    The benefits are not offered if the reservation is made with an ineligible rate through a prepaid, Group, Wedding, Airlines, third-party booking, such as agoda.com, expedia.com, booking.com, orbitz.com, etc.
    Reservations made on eligible rates booked through a hotel's website system, BAR rate, eligible corporate rates are eligible for Mulia Privilege benefits.
    Benefits are only eligible for maximum two (2) rooms, if the guest is stay and both of the rooms is paid by the guest.
    A spouse, other family member, friend, associate, etc., cannot use a member’s account to access benefits or accumulate stay or night credits. The Mulia Privilege program and any member benefits are subject to change. Membership benefit is not transferable.
     
  20. Program membership entitles members the right to earn points, which can be redeemed for rewards in accordance with the Term and Conditions of the program.
  21. The sale or barter of any Mulia Privilege points, vouchers, rewards confirmation or other Mulia Privilege benefit is prohibited
  22. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Program Terms and Conditions and as to the number of points in his or her account.
  23. Members may be permitted to remain in the Program and removed after five years of inactivity, to deactivation of the Member's account. Once the points have been forfeited, the Member may not retrieve any forfeited points but Member may begin to earn points again thereafter. Any Reward redeemed by the Member before the points are forfeited (such as a hotel reservation made or an airport service obtained) is still valid.
