Healing Travel: How Mulia Bali Addresses the Search for Wellness Through New Programs

Published on 01 October 2022 in Wellness & Recreation

If we can all take at least one positive thing out of the global pandemic, it may well be self-improvement. During the past two years, the wellness and fitness industry seem to be on the rise - with people seeking holistic approaches to being healthier. Now with the borders open, people seem to be searching for healing trips where they can relax while also working on themselves. The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas - Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, is one of the resorts that recognizes this need and has created a program to help travellers embark on their healing journey.

Hailed as one of the best beachfront resorts in the world, Mulia Bali is known for its luxurious accommodations, world-class dining venues, and exclusive meeting and wedding facilities. But the resort also houses the island's, by far, biggest fitness centre with an extensive program that covers high-impact workouts to mindful exercises with different types of yoga. With a high focus on a balanced lifestyle, Mulia Bali encourages guests to enjoy their leisure time in paradise while maintaining their fitness and wellness routines. Paired with a selection of dining venues and recreational facilities as well as a luxurious spa, when it comes to enjoying a balanced life, Mulia Bali takes the matter seriously.

To create a more holistic concept for its overall program, Mulia Bali recently added two wellness programs guests can experience during their stay. The "Yin Yoga & The Art of Sound Healing" are some of the new additions to the mindful practice, where guests can follow a slow-pace yoga that focuses on holding each pose for an extended period to increase circulation and improve flexibility. Following Yin Yoga, participants of this program can experience healing through sounds with Mulia's certified instructor. The addition of sound healing at the end of this class brings a sense of calmness and a balanced mind and body before starting the day.

This ancient-old practice uses vibrations from various mediums, such as Tibetan singing bowls that resonate with each chakra point on the body. As the vibrations also resonate with different emotions, sound healing programs often feature the therapy as a complementary session. Noting this, Mulia Bali has also created a one-hour (1 hour) session where guests can experience personal sound healing therapy to discover a deeper state of relaxation and peace. This program starts with a consultation to identify what would be required or focused on during the session, creating a more personalized experience for each guest. An additional charge is applicable for the private class, and the "Yin Yoga and The Art of Sound Healing" classes are free of charge exclusively for guests of Mulia Bali

Guests can now pre-book the class before arrival or arrange them during their stay with these exclusive stay offers from Mulia Bali. Learn more about Mulia Bali's fitness and wellness programs here.
