To Pack or to Unpack - Essential Things You Need for Travelling With the New Norm

Published on 23 July 2020 in Destination COVID-19 Updates

With the world now slowly settling back with new well-being and safety policies, it is just a matter of time before we get to explore once again. Travel companies - from airlines, travel agents, resorts and hotels, recreational parks and such - have now implemented new normal protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

We recently introduced our set of policies to ensure that you can still enjoy your stay at our award-winning luxury beachfront resort or dine at our signature restaurants in Bali. Our butlers have also done their research on essential things to pack for your future travels during the pandemic so you can enjoy your holiday with ease.

Mulia Bali will provide you with sanitizers around the resort as well as in your room, however, it is best to pack an extra bottle of sanitizer in your luggage for when you venture out of the resort. Worry not if you do not wish to carry this with you as the pharmacies and general stores now have these on hand. You can also pack disinfectant wipes as an additional convenience to use at public places.

Face Mask

When you are at Mulia Bali, we do request that you wear a face mask at all times for your protection as well as others. We do provide face masks in all rooms for your convenience, however, it is advisable to pack extra masks just in case. Please refer to WHO advice on what type of masks you should prepare.

First Aid Kit and Vitamins

Stay fit at our state-of-the-art fitness centre, choose from an array of well-balanced meals at our restaurants, and catch some sun at our 1-kilometre white sandy beach, we have you covered to ensure you still lead a healthy lifestyle while you travel. However, it is advisable to pack a first aid kit with immune boosters and vitamins as suggested by professionals for added measures.

Reusable Water Bottle

Aside from ensuring less waste from bottled waters, a reusable water bottle plays an important role with the new norm, especially when you go for an excursion. Mulia Bali implements a high standard of sanitization throughout the resort, from your room to the utensils at our restaurants. Everything is cleaned according to the WHO standard.

Extra Clothing Bags

Separate your soiled articles of clothing from the clean ones to minimize cross-contamination. Choose reputable launderer or those practising international standards on cleaning your clothing items. Mulia Bali practices a high standard of sanitation when handling our guests' laundry with the use of the proper sanitizing agents and detergents - also ensuring that what we use are also safe for the environment.

Lastly, Your Wanderlust

Keep the wanderlust alive. Practice social distancing as advised by WHO and enjoy your next trip.
