Let's admit it, going on a holiday for most of us means not hitting the gym and stay active. After all, a holiday is about relaxing, indulging and just taking a break from it all. But when you stayed at the award-winning beachfront resort, Mulia Bali, you'd discover a world of diverse and interesting program that you'd no longer have any excuse to not stick to your fitness routines!
Being an expansive resort, Mulia Bali gives you ample space to stay active. You can take a leisure stroll around the resort grounds, jog along the shoreline of Nusa Dua's tranquil beach, or swim in any of its pools - Mulia Resort has four main swimming pools and all are great lap pool size, but also probably one of the most instragrammable pools you will ever find!
But if you are after a serious session of working out a sweat, Mulia Bali's Fitness Centre is a definite must-try.
Located next to the Courtyard Pool, the Fitness Centre is the ultimate haven for fitness enthusiasts and amateurs alike. Equipped with state of the art equipment - from cardiovascular to strength training, free weights, medicine ball and a whole lot more - you are guaranteed to find all you need in one room. Mulia Bali takes its fitness facilities seriously, professionally trained instructors are always standing by to assist you. We also offer personal coaching (with additional charge) should you wish to plan a thorough workout plan during your vacation.
Mulia Bali also put a lot of thoughts in creating a holistic approach to its fitness programs. Daily classes are available at guests' disposal, from a variety of yoga classes to the latest workout trends, such as the MMA Core de Force to the freshest addition to the program, Tabata.
Tabata training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). One circuit consists of several rounds of ultra-high-intensity exercises in a specific interval. By using your own weigh, Tabata training focuses on repetitions of one movement at high intensity in one round. It burns a lot of calories and provides an intense full-body anaerobic and aerobic workout. Tabata training also improves athletic performance, improves glucose metabolism, and acts as an excellent catalyst for fat burning. The Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) effect is off the charts for Tabata Training.
If you wish to have a one-to-one training, opt for the Cardio Boxing (at additional charge) with the trainers. Aimed to condition the entire body and provide a complete workout for your cardiovascular and endurance, this exercise helps you to increase stamina, strength, speed as well as coordination.
Feeling famished post working out, we head down to the pool bar at Courtyard Pool to get our daily dose of healthy breakfast. On offer are selections of fresh fruit and vegetable juices, as well as a well-balanced breakfast menu with delicious choices such as the Tropical Fruit Parfait, Egg White Frittata, Summer Vegetable Ratatouille, and Gluten Free Buckwheat Waffle.
These healthy options are available upon request (prior reservation is required) at a very reasonable price. And nothing beats having a healthy breakfast poolside in a tropical paradise!
